Oil line replacement on 05 Chopper

Just wondering if the oil tank had to be pulled to get the lines off the tank or if there was some other secret to it. I got the two off the right side but can't figure how to get the hose on the left side off. The suction side hose is leaking and I thought I would replace all of them while I'm at it. Any advise would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

oil line replacement

Just did the same three on my 05 chopper day before yesterday. I put dog up on blocks just enough to get under it and work (maybe 6 in.) I used a combo of standard length and stubby length open end wrenches to get to fittings on all 3 hoses.I was told by a local owner of a speed shop not to put braided hoses back on but to use hydraulic lines and would never have to worry about them again. Local Napa aout parts had my hoses made up for me in 15 mins. $100 bucks for all three but worth it to me. its tight getting to them but doable. good luck bro!

I think I have a small hole in one of my oil lines. Is this another common thing to go wrong on 2005's. Darn it.

Thanks,Cliff
