Just noticed oil leak at the bottom of front cyl, not bad just at the bottom of cyl at case. I'm no mechanic but I can fix most things. Please ring in with most common cause and a way to fix. Its a K9 with a 117, 2007 model, Ive added a 600 cam, 4'' belt, nitrous. I dont see how any of this would cause a leak. I'll welcome all responses to this. Tks Carpetman

It could be your gasket, if that is that is the cause, you have to pull the cyclinder to replace. That happend to me on the rear one. I decided to pull both because of the labor to getting to it (removing the tank, etc.) and replaced both. I also had .047 thousands removed from each one at the time to increase the compression.

I hope that isn't the case because of the cost involved, but if it is, I would reccomend changing both.

Sometimes you wish things could be easy, i pretty much figured that was the case. I just looked closer and both are leaking a bit. I've been riding all summer and have not noticed it that much. I just got a lift from Titan and raised my bike to eye level, you can see so much more . As for a lift I think I got a good deal on Ebay for a Titan 1500 $1174.00 including shipping to Ga. its new, everyone else was around 1 $1600.00. But i still have to add another ramp my bike is just too low. 2'' to ground

They make a better gasket than the one installed by BDM, mine are steel I beleive, I'm sure some members here can tell you which is the best.

I had around 11,000 on mine when it started leaking, no problems since. I elected to have the heads done at the same time, new valves and springs, might as well turn lemons into lemonade.

Not saying this is the case but always allow the engine to warm up good before you rip on it.

Concerning lifts, check out Greg Smith Equipment, there is one in Buford, GA. I own two of their Pro-Lift models, one with a chopper extension and are probably some of the best I have seen for half the price. I immediately throw away the hand crank chock that they come with and mount a Condor on them so you can drive up and step off. They run around $650 and if you are in one of the many states they are in you can go pick it up.
