Oil change and oil filter

looking to do oil change looking for part # for chrome oil filter and how many quarts for 2006 k9 thank Vin cent

look on wild steed worx at the top right, they have re-useable oil filter, I have had one from K&P for years works great. take 3 qtrs maybe a little less

should be 170c (c being for chrome) just make sure you get the one for the EVO and not the twin cam.

The twin cam number is 171. It has the bypass valve, not meant for dry sump oil system. Easy to spot, look at the small holes that are around the center hole, if you see a rubber flapper its for a twin cam, 171.

it's ok, i think that is the biggest reason i went with the K&P re-usable, so i wouldn't have to remember which one to get. just clean it and put it back on.
