O2 pittbull problems?

I have an 02 pittbull with 10,000 miles on it. It runs perfect, well kind of.

I ride it, come home, and shut it off. About an hour later, I start it back up, but its hard to start, and when I accelerate it pops and cracks, and shoots flames out the exhaust. Makes quite a racket!

Turn it off, let it sit over night or just for a few hours. Starts up great, runs perfect.

Carb is clean, new plugs, new charging system. Been doing this for a couple of weeks now.

Any ideas?

Hopefully it's just crap

check your bowl ... drain into a cup and see if there's any crap in it ... :up:

clean your plugs and
replace your spark plug wires

Thanks for the replies fellows.

What it turned out to be was the thunderheart ignition would cut out when it got warm.

Thunderheart took it back and only charged me 87 bucks to rebuild it.

Runs awesome now!!
