as you go to put bike in neutral,, rap the throttle as you pull up on the shifter,, this is a common issue.. as long as the clutch dosent slip... & when in gear with the clutch leaver pulled it it dosent creep along its probbly adjusted right,, this should help ya out.. or shift to N before complete stop..(still rolling)

Time to adjust your clutch. You might also change out the old dirty heavy oil in the primary but your issue is clutch adjustment.

Have at it

Blip the throttle and slip it in before you come to a stop. Works every time. But yes..... I would also do what Ray said as well.

Also make sure your idle speed is not to high. This with a mis-adjusted clutch can cause a hard clunk and pull when you put it in gear and amke neutral difficult to find at idle/stopped

RIDE IT HARD!!!
Had the very same problem and all went away when I put my open primary on. Now goes into N like butter. That open primary changed so many things about this bike. Like N, shifting, starting and balance.:2thumbs::cheers:

I just want to add ..the HEAVY oil that is recommended causes the clutch disks to drag ,try the light weight ATF or B&M trick shift it can make a world of difference .The clutch basket is also known to come loose and cause problems I was ready to give up and buy a new clutch and tried the above .. the clutch never worked better ! Pull the clutch basket clean all parts reinstall with red locktite at 120ft pounds .. Fill with B&M ..love your ride allover again !!! "Remember that the clutch metal disks have two sides front and back" the sharp edge goes toward the tranny . in most cases I would bet the basket has come loose ..
