2007 K-9 3100 miles on the clock.Whining noise from primary.The noise is there as soon as you start it up.and when you ride.Noise does not change when clutch is pulled in,also when in gear sitting still, noise still there,nothing spinning in trans at this point.Fluid in primary looks like grey metallic paint.I got metal from somewhere.so in I go pull the primary cover off and check nuts,they are tight.pull clutch plates they look cherry.Outer bearing in pressure plate looks and feels good.There is no up or down or side to side movement in the sprockets.I went to pull off sprockets and I dont have the socket for engine sprocket.Have to bring home from work tomorrow.The only thing left would be the bearing on the carrier.I will look at that when I pull rest of it apart.
