no start,,,no power,,,wtf

:angry:i got a 2006 chopper,,,i turned the key on and the headlights and everything came on ok....so then i hooked battery charger up to it bcuz its been sitting all winter, i got one of them chargers that shuts off automatically when battery is charged.
so now i turn key on and neutral light flashes and goes off and nothing else turns on...no headlights or nothing kinda like theres no power from battery,,,all battery connections are tight,,,any ideas? did i fry something with battery charger?? :bang:

Did you attach the battery charger directly to the positive and negative terminals or did you attach the Positive to the battery and the neg to a ground. If you went directly to the battery more than likely you fried the Battery. I always do attach the positive to the Battery and the neg to the starter ground.

Take you battery in and have it tested :2thumbs:

And don't go cheap on a battery. It takes a lot to turn over a 117. Lots of threads on batteries. Harley and Braille seem to get good results along with a few others. Just because you get one that has 310 CCA does not mean it's a good battery. I've gone through several. Kept getting the cheaper battery because it was a free replacement due to it crapping out so soon. Eventually bit the bullit and got a Braille.
