Let me study this. I see a tiny needle that is strong in a sense of throwing one off on a low read not matching a number to idle pressure. So I'm going to start by walking a list of idle situations that should wear the bike out just idling alone is a noise maker party hat clanker:
1. Boom, the engine starts and idles. Routine goes, pull up jacket zipper, bucket the helmet, touch the head to see if it's hot enough etc., put on gloves, grab the trousers by the crotch and lift up, swing a leg over, hands on grips, head turns around for traffic, looks forward, takes off.

2. Bike is up to running temp and is at a light stopped and idling. Twirls fingers waiting, is not a blipper 40 fucking times a second waiting... doing all dis throttle opening anshit, light changes, takes off.

3. Takes seconds for a dry to dry, no lube ups the heat, turns to bluing the metal, snowballs and welds itself together, wheel locks up, you skid to a stop.

4 Oh, but that needle rips so fucking fast on a blip = Faulty pressure gauge needle read (it and weep]. NFP [no problem found] engine wise.

So the light is off when its running which it should be?....i watched your videos and i listened to the motor and the top end sounds fine...i believe the gauge is lieing or has a restriction in it or a restriction between it and the tappet screen....possible gauge going bad which is really what i think it is...one possible thing is if the gauge was installed with thread tape , which it should be tape or maybe even thread dope....if installed with the tape a piece of the tape may have came loose and it covering the oil gauge hole or it maybe in the hole...those type of gauges do loose there calibration from trash in them, been hit or dropped etc...new gauge and a tappet screen cleaning and i do believe you will be fine...let us know what you find when taking it out and cleaning the screen

I'll get you a couple of pictures tomorrow .

Sorry the pictures are not that good, but I did find out the windows 11 does not have a picture viewer unless you want to subscribe like microsoft Office. Anyway I used Acrobat and looks OK but not that good

I like the gauge on the rocker box. Yeah that is a pretty good setup you got there. Appreciate the info! :chopper:

I think Curtis at WSW has a similar setup for Oil Pressure Guage. I just googled Arlen Ness and they appear to still have the same set up I am running. His pricey you may want to find something with Curtis. Curtis puts out quality parts for less money.

Here is the one at Aren Ness https://arlenness.com/products/radius-oil-pressure-gauge-chrome for about $200 bucks
I will check with curtis, thanks for the info
