No High Beam. ?????????

04 Mastiff, My headlight was turning on/off figured bulb was crapping out. Changed the bulb, checked with meter everything seemed fine, one contact was low beam,13.3. Other was Hi 13.3, light came on saying Hi beams were on, plugged bulb in,all I have is Lo beam. Any Ideas. Used a brand new bulb. Thanks.

Try another bulb or socket however that is also a sign of the EHC taking a poop.Just sayn...good luck

I started having probs with my high and low beams and then my Pitbull started randomly stalling. The EHC took a crap.

Other possibility is melted connector at bulb. But the EHC is my first guess. Good luck!

does an 04 have fault lights on the EHC like the later models? if so see if the high beam circuit light is on indicating a fault.

Same with mine. Low beam would go on and off. Then the bike would shut down on its own. Went with a wire plus have not had any more problems. But first check the easy stuff first. Alot cheaper.

Got the EHC tested yesterday, no speedo/odometer now. It's dying.

Time for a rewire, wire plus or m-unit.
