Well it has been a warm weekend here in SC, in the upper 60's.
Got the call that the pup was ready to go, no EHC, just 3 lonely fuses under the seat, lol! All done except for the speedo, just waiting on the speed sensor, as this is what the mechanic believes it to be! He thought it would be a good idea that I pick it up, take her out for a maiden voyage and check for any bugs and we could finish up the speedo this week.
Along with the three lonely fuses, there is a new Dyna 2000 ignition, single fire and the WP 143 module for the lighting.
Took her out and just kept expecting everything to stop working. I don't want to jinx myself but she ran fine, that new ignition did make a noticeable difference. Everyone kept asking me (as everyone knows of my dilemma's) how she was running. My answer was "she always ran great, when she ran, its just keeping her running!"
Anyway, that will be the big test, will she keep running without all of the electrical glitches? I am excited, and hopeful that she will be running and I can hopefully log a few more miles. I will keep everyone informed!
