I have a 2004 Chopper with a wire plus install I did myself 3 years ago. Bike runs great since. Recently I noticed I don't have brake lights (front or foot controls). I do have running lights and turn signals though.
I can see that my brake controls work, as i see the wire plus module light illuminate when they are depressed and I also see the 5v Brake signal go to ground when the levers are engaged. Thing is, this input change doesn't cause the WP module to light up the brake lights (no 12v out to indicators).
As a work around, since I have no horn, I jumped the horn output (12v) to the right rear turn signal indicator. So now if I keep my horn depressed, my right rear light will stay on constant.
Anyone have any ideas. BTW, i tried jumping the horn output to both rear turn signals, but this ends up tying them in common so they do both light up when the horn is depressed, but they also both light up when either turn signal is working too. Either way I was happy I had a work around.
