New speed sensor dies a quick death

Well, this one is a goner and it ain't got a hundred miles. With all the rain we've had
sunny, too cold to ride, too wet to ride..AAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I want spring..NOW!!!






THIS SUCKS!


Was sitting in the shop getting ready for a ride and POOF, up in smoke

You're right I do have one of those and a neutral switch.I never noticed this wires coming from the speed sensor. They were hiding under the starter wire. I better be careful when I'm cleaning with that paint stick.

I don't know it was routed over to the neutral safety switch and wire tied.
Maybe a sharp edge in the machining process, thin insulation spot on the cable ??
Got me. I was in the shop getting ready to go out but it beat me to leaving.:mad:
