New S&S Easy Start Cam

Here is a video that I received from S&S and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. The video shows two bikes similar with spark plug wires remove so the won't start. One with conventional cam and the other with the "easy start cam". Both bikes start cranking and go on for a couple minutes and the conventional cam kills the battery while the easy start keeps going and going.
What do you think? :job:

COME ON!! If the bike doesn't start on the first few revs,cranking it all day doesn,t help the starter!:job: Dial and tune the fucking thing.Ha,although you could drive it home on the starter:roll::roll:

Stupid way to show something. Show me these bikes starting and shutting down back to back or show me these bikes doing that in a freezer. Put it on some kickers and have children and grandmothers start 'em

I am thinking that in the long run if this "easy start cam" holds up to the test that it would be less wear and tear on our starters and batteries.

I wish I had more money.
Jake had posted these a couple weeks back. I think they are like 5 to 7 hundred dollars. You could get a good cam and have electronic comp. releases put in for less that the cost of the cam.

my bike has comp releases and it starts on the first rev every time. I don't think I will be needing this cam.

They say in the Video that the cam doesn't hurt the performance, but I'd find that a little hard to believe. I'd think it would have to hurt a little performance, somehow.
I'm guess it just a cam with some more lob overlap that lowers the cranking compression, by opening the valves slightly sooner. That's exactly what john Sachs is always talking about, cranking compression.
I'm sure John can shed more light on this!

dead, :cheers::cheers:

Nope...it's similar to what's on my Honda 450 quad. It's a centrifical compression release that only effect compression at 200-300 rpm. Once it starts, there is no difference in performance.

Who the hell needs to crank there motor for 30 minutes. LOL
