Before you ask for an intro - This is Renomoe - I don't have access to my old email and forgot my password.....so hence a new account - Raywood is helping me on this part.....

okay, So last year I replaced the EHC on my 05 Pitt-----I was riding the bike and it just died for no reason. It starts right back up and off I go....fast forward a few months.....I take it out a couple of months ago and the bike dies on me a few times, but starts right up. I get it home and the next day, nothing.....all the lights on the EHC are on and I tty to start the bike and when I turn the key - nada......

I disconnect battery and dealer picks up bike - two weeks later they find nothing wrong. I rode the bike all last week and everythings fine. It sat with battery tender connected for a week and when I go to ride it I notice that the left turn signal indicator is on - no key in bike - I turn they key on and the indicator light shuts off and there is no power. I remove the seat and all the EHC lights are on - I play with it and nothing works except the indicator light stays on with the key off. I disconnect the battery and call dealer....they have no idea what will cause this.

I connect the battery today and all is normal again!?! started right up.....

Any ideas? Please help!!

thanks!

Pull the EHC and fill it with die-electric grease and put it back on.

Do you have any fault lites on the EHC?

You have a short somewhere. I would start chasin wires at one end and follow them all checking all pugs and connections along the way

Dd some riding this weekend and I think I isolated the problem.....When I use the right turn signal the bike totally shuts down.....Has anybody ever experienced this?
