New mirrors

I assume any time new mirrors are installed the Big Dog mirror adapter has to be used?? Is there any alternative to the BD ones? Alot of mirrors have the square stems and have to match up to the round adapters. Not sure I like that idea.

They are not needed on the 2003 choppers....... I believe adaptors are needed on 2004 and up. At least that is what Arlen Ness told me..... The Harley ones work on the older bikers.

Hi Bill,

The adapters are needed for 04-up application only. The included Harley adapters will work for your 2003 Chopper model.

I guess when you buy $25 mirrors, you get $25 mirrors :lol:
