wont get my k9 until may, so i have really no way to find this out. im just wondering everything that the speedo does/shows the rider for '09. thanks.

Sweet paint job on that bike. You're gonna get tons of compliments!

My 06 shows speed, rpm and of course has the odometer and trip settings. It also has lights for oil pressure, turn signals, bright light.

Not sure on the 09, however wanted to say sweet paint!

Yep you are not seeing double! Not seen that before. Maybe one for brakes and one for turning lights????????? Someone will chime in and answer that question. Nice paint!!

Yes fuel injected bikes have a low fuel light. When it goes on I have somewhere around a gallon of fuel in the tank....

Well to be specific the speedometer only tells you your speed along with the odometer/tripometer.

The tach ring seperate from the speedometer has your other info stated above.



If you don't have the owners manual yet you can download one from the BDM website so you can read through it.

yup its a canadian bike. apparently they have to have separate brake/tail lights and signals here to be legal. sucks because the single set of lights looks better.

as for the paint, those skulls and designs are all over the bike. its actually a very bright red. and i promise, the day after i bring it home, ill post ton of GOOD pics of it. instead of those crappy ones the dealer took.

I asked the salesman but he didnt know his ass from a hole in the ground. im pretty sure it has a carb. honestly, i was to busy drooling to have a closer look at it. i couldnt even hear it run. the PDI hadnt been completed yet.

ill check on BD website for a manual. i heard the '09s speedos were somehow different.

pro am was at the red deer bike show a few years where i fell in love with the k9.
