I finally got a manual for my bike as I need to start doing some in warranty work myself (that's another story). But, has anyone noticed the procedure in the 2009 manual for clutch adjustment? It says to loosen cable as usual then adjust pushrod in for light pressure against throwout bearding. At that point it says to tighten it down. Then adjust clutch cable for NO free play at lever. Then go back to the pushrod and back it off 1/4 turn and tighten. I guess it works either way, but I haven't been doing to quite like that.
