It is perfectly normal to keep going into the garage to admire your new mistress. Most of us still look in on her several times a day.

Then, after the first ride, you will wonder why you did not get one sooner...

Congrats on the new ride!
I only had two rides before the crud / snow came and it kills me seeing that puppy sitting in the garage everyday, :bang:

Congratulations, Red - time's gonna pass pretty slowly between now and then, waiting on a great bike like that. I had to wait for almost four months for mine.

Get some pics up as soon as it arrives, and share the joy with the rest of us - we can all relate!

Yeah Thanks Paul...that's what I here.....Sounds cool to me.....I luv the attitude of the bike, the long stretched out feeling the bike, being a 6-5 tall dude works great, the power of the bike, the speed, and the looks....every time I looked at these bikes I wanted one because I always thought when I saw one I said "NOW that's a motorcycle" plus when you pull in somewhere all the attention it gets...they just look bad ass.....
Now hopefully it will not take me long to get the hang of riding her.....I've seen guys ride these like they were on dirt bikes..lol...so I guess it doesn't take long to get used to....Looking forward to the experience and getting to know some you guys on the road.....

I've owned 5 Harleys in the past 3 years and have never been totally satisfied as to say "this the bike for me"....The road Glide comes extremely close...but doesn't have the raw motorcycle bad ass attitude that the BD does....but it is close....The road Glide ride is very nice bike....best Harley ride out there.....

But the motorcycle you ride is an expression or your personality and should reflect that.....it's all in what you want...

So I'm hoping this one will be the one for me....KKKKKKKKKK9999999...yeah
THANKS,
RED

I hear ya, I had a fat boy for a year and spent more time (and Money) trying to make it look like a something it was not. As for getting use to it, does not take long. I actually had more problem riding a friends Harley after being on the dog than vise versa, The biggest thing I had to get use to was long sweeping turns like an exit ramp, had to get used to how far you could lean without scraping pipe, but that did not take long. Really the only other thing I noticed a bit different was if you change lanes and the pavement is uneven, sometimes you kinda get caught in the rut cause of the 300 tire but no big deal just have to pay attention. Check your pm I sent you a message.
