Get your attention?

Hope so.

No, there is not currently a new dlr up here, but the need is there.

I was talking with management at BDM today and the question came up about BDM dealers, or lack of dealers in the NW.

So, here is what is asked of this forum:
"Do you have any good suggestions for a dealer in the area that you trust and think would do a good job selling and servicing Big Dogs?"

Currently we have one dlr in Post Falls Idaho with inventory on the floor, and one dlr in Mt Vernon that does not, no dealers in Oregon. For some, it is 8-9 hours to an active dealer. Got a dealer in mind? Post it up here and the factory will take it from there.

Heck Raywood still need a J.O.B.
Big Dog build him a 20 x 30 shop and supply Jim Beam and he would work CHEAP

realistically right now, i dont think any dealer that is just starting out selling these bikes will do very well. nothing is selling and the cost of dealerships expences will drive them into the negative. when bikes do sell, they are selling for invoice or even lower. so wheres the profit?? the economy is just too jacked up right now. once it rebounds(wishful thinking) then its a different story.

As bleek as that sounds its not far off the mark for now, things WILL change, we WILL come out of this and be strong again :2thumbs:

The factory is looking for existing dlrs with great reputations and they know it will be tough in the USA for some time yet. But BDM does have a loyal following, they are cutting edge, they are fearless, and they are planning for the future, not waiting for it to arrive.:flag:

I bet if they opened a shop near our area a lot of service members would keep them in business.

I wish you guys out west luck. Here in New Jersey we have 3 dealers plus one service center. Plenty of help with parts and service. Only problem is way too many people.
