New Battery but Bike Wont Turn on!!!

So more or less my most plug and play options keeping factors bars and controls are:
-Docs or Gen 1 RIP? Both will essentially require rewiring the backbone wiring with their proprietary backbone wiring?

-Or I could do something called thunderbolt that sounds like more rewiring but cheaper. Possibly more proprietary connectors or more just straight up hardwired parts.

-Or I could replace the Wires Plus Modified backbone wiring with factory (inexpensive on eBay) and do rip gen 2 or axels which seem to use factory options for connector to box

Sorry if this is remedial. I’m new to this and just wanna make sure I understand my options. Thru reading around this forum this seems to be my synopsis.

Looks like you've been doing some studying.
Time to start stabbing some wires with a small needle or pin and your Volt ohm meter looking at inputs and outputs.

Jeffrey did you try bypassing your controller yet, that's gonna tell you if it's bad, I believe if you run power directly from the battery to the ignition, then use a jumper wire from the battery to the starter it should fire up, before you do all that check the starter to see if you have a slam button on it, it would be on the end of your solenoid, if you do then you won't need to use the jumper wire, remember before you jump it unplug the green wire from the starter so if your controller is good you don't burn it up, hope that helps.

So hand controls are working, checked harnesses for loose wires and checked for rubbing and abrasion type shorts etc etc... wiring looks to have been done professionally and seems to be in good condition.
Controller gets power but doesn’t execute “run command”, or horn etc...

What would you check next?

I am stumped, are you getting power from the ignition module?
Longshot but also check the headlight harness, they have been known to melt and could be grounding it out.

One of the old ones.
I am another enthusiastic fan of D O C's EHC. I recall that in your case, you will be dealing with a system that has already been modified with the WP.
I know many here have Axel's unit and are pleased with it, but I would think in your case, immediate customer support would be important if you encounter issues with the install. You'll not find a smarter or more dedicated product support person than Jeff Moore. As cdogg just said, you wanna install a new EHC, call Jeff. The product is superior, instructions flawless, and the procedures are easily followed. Not at all familiar with what has to happen to replace a WP, but bet your ass Jeff does.

What do I know but it is questionable to be overly certain the problem and solution is always the same in every case ...

Sorry for the delay, I am happy to report the DOC’s Kit was intimidating coming out of the box but absolutely went together flawlessly. It’s a beautiful harness cut to absolutely perfect specs! Initial tests are 100% perfect operation and serendipitously, no noticeable battery loss when parked for long periods.

Unfortunately, clutch issues surfaced right after install and I’m just now getting around to that... post coming.

I forgot to take pics during install but the harness is perfect!
