Neutral switch on the transmission would be my first guess, check wires going to it. It’s a two wire switch on the top, accessible from the right side.

Could be the connector on the switch got knocked off when cleaning?

I don't think the connector being off would make the bike shake? Maybe if it was shorting out to ground?

No I meant the bike shaking could make wire come off but it’s not already checked it.

Pins 34 & 35 go to the neutral switch. You can use paper clips to test switch. There should be conductivity when in neutral.
