Hey all - I'm thinking about trying a new look. I have an '07 K9 Limited Edition w/ black diamond cut engine and blacked out bars, head lamp pan, etc. I'm thinking about painting my stock air cleaner/intake cover gloss black. It's currently the stock chrome w/ BDM print on it.
Anyone have one they can spare? Maybe replaced their intake and looking to get rid of the old parts? Not looking to spend any significant coin - will pay shipping costs. No problems if the part has some wear/scratches.
I'm going to keep my stock one "as is" just in case I don't like the look.
Not sure what the dealer is charging for this part, but I expect it's more than I'm willing to spend.
I'm hoping that good karma will come back my way since I gave away several "like new" parts to folks on this site - including mirrors, pegs, grips, clutch/brake levers, forward controls . . .
