Need some Input---Hookers 4 into 1

I'm trying to get a little help with Hookers 4 into 1 pipes. As best I can tell, they have no heat shields. Does anyone know if your leg is going to take a lot of heat?? How are the pipes when it comes to bluing?? I like the looks of the chrome, but am wondering if I should go withe the coated because of the heat and or bluing. You guys have always been very helpful and I'm counting on you for this one also.

Look in the swap meet section if you want a cheap new set. Hooker did a fire sale to get rid of all their MC pipes. Whatever01 got the last set of chrome Forbidden Pipes and didnt like them. His OL bitched about him buying 2 sets of pipes last month. On E-Bay as well so dont wait too long....
