Need help with front brake MC

I replaced piston etc in the mc and cannot get any brake pressure. I have bled in a bottle & tried pumping fluid up from the caplier. I got a lot of bubbles last night, gave up. This morning bubbles are gone but can't still get the handle to build up any pressure at all. Do I still have air in the system or what?
Brake was working fine before other than handle would not go all the way back to keep from activating the brake light.

never been there but is there any way of putting the piston in backwards allowing bleed-by?????

get a big syringe from a feed supply and with a tube connected to the bleeder on the caliper pump fluid into the caliper. it'll push the air up and out.

I'm pretty sure that if you installed anything wrong when you rebuilt it, it would leak. Bleed it at both banjo bolts, in other words, hold brake pressure, and crack the banjo the same way you crack the bleeder screw. Once you've done that to where you get no bubbles, start flicking the lever. Go all the way down, and let it pop back up fast. Also try turning the bars to the opposite side. It may take a few min but you should get pressure.

Never got anywhere so took it back apart & was leaking @ I think the cup shaped washer. Put the original parts back except for the spring which was all it needed in the first place & she pump right back up & the handle works like it suppose to.
Thanks for all the help everybody.

Well that was a false positive. I had to run some errands & got back to it latter to double check for any more air & the handle just went past the pressure point & no brakes. I've about decided that the bore has a bad place in it where the piston was hanging up before & not letting the handle go all the way back.
