Hey guys, I need to order new wheels. Is there any manufactures that make wheels specifically For BIGDOG? Or can I go with any brand? All the websites that I visited don't have BIGDOG as an option to select from. I went to a local authorized Performance Machine dealer. PM told him they need measurements for...

"Center to Hub Face"
"Center to Rotor Face"
"Center to Pulley Face"
"Axel size"

He said "Basically they're gonna go off the specs we provide and get the closest match". Something about the phrase "closest match" doesn't seem right to me. Should the specs match and not be close enough?
Thanks,
Appreciate any input

Pull your stock wheels and measure everything and see what they come up with. I just put a set of pm heathens on my 07 K9

If you aren't comfortable doing the measurements, get a shop to do it for you..I had to make spacers for mine.

Mr. Wright

Knows some things
Marky Mark has or had these for sale, send him a PM, or just post here that your interested, and he'll get with you.

Just a thought, you might want to get one of our vendors to order the wheels for you. Probably get the same deal and they will know the different dimensions to give PERFORMANCE MACHINE.

How did you order your Heathens wheels? Took bike to shop to get the measurements and now PM is saying we need do the research and order wheels by Harley model. They won't let me order by giving them the measurement specs. Your 07 K9 & my 08 Mutt have the same size front but the rears are different K9 is 300/35vr-18 Mutt is 250/40r-18. I don't think Harley makes a stock bikes with a 250. Widest I seen is the Breakout model that has a 240 tire. Seems like buying new wheels from any manufacturer is a bit of a gamble.. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

As best as I can remember, they wanted the length thru the center outside of the bearings. The length outside the rotor to outside the pulley. Rotor thickness. Pulley thicknes.belt size and diameter of rotor and diameter of pulley and number of teeth on pulley. If you pull your wheels and get these numbers that should give them what you need. If you know a parts guy at a Harley shop they can get you hooked up and still get you the same pricing and save your shipping. I'll try to find the emails that went back and forth but they may have been lost when our server at work took a dump.
