NEED A SOFTER SEAT or A HARDER ASS

I love my dog, but . . .

after about 100 miles my ass is killing me.

Anyone find any easy (read cheap) solutions? Thought about a custom seat but have a hard time parting with the $500 - $1000.

Anyone use an overlay (gel filled or other)?

Yep, Beeza does amazing tooling work. Seatmaker also does amazing work, you really can't go wrong with either. I have a seatmaker seat and a beeza tool roll.

What should I expect to spend - ballpark? Looking for a solo - simple, subdued but maybe some "style". Most important is more comfort - gel, air, whatever.

Which is more comfortable gel or air cell? Does the air cell look bad? I too am looking to get some seat work done. Anybody have some good pics of a air cell seat?

i really can't answer that question. i have not done anything with air cells.

what i use is a polymer inset, not gel.

$500- plus, that's crazy. But I'll take it :D

Here's one I just finished w/ gel. Definitely hit Beez up for tooled leather if that's what your after.



Different customer but gives you the idea of how the gel is inserted.

WB that 2 up seat with backrest will that fit an 07 K9??

Would like that one for the long rides the wife and I take....and how much would something like that cost?

Beeza did my seat with the polymer insert...can ride all day without pain !!!

Oh yeah, his leather work is OUTSTANDING !!!!!

I also love my bike, but find it to be a 2 hour bike then my ass is killing me. I had a custom seat made (Croc) and had gel inserted in my seat. Still kills me. I am about to buy an Air Hawk seat cushion; I understand they are VERY effective. YOu can see my seat pics under Purple Dog.
