My Custom Seat From Scott

As soon as I got my bike a custom seat was on my list. When I joined this site I payed attention to Scott's work and you can't help but be impressed. So after admiring his seats for about a year and a half I decided I would go ahead and get mine. I emailed Scott and gave him my idea and quickly responded with a pic of a sample he had made to show the colors contrasted, and the pattern looked. I advised him and it looked good. I told him that I wanted my seat shaved down as I had seen in pictures on here before.

After we agreed on everything, I shipped my seat via UPS. He received it last Thursday. Yesterday, I was gonna call and see how he was doing. Before I got a chance, I received an email from stating that he had finished. He also sent two pics. The seat looks amazing.

I could post the pics but according to UPS the seat will arrive Thursday. As soon as it does, I will put it on my Chopper! takes some pics, and post them ASAP.

See y'all Thursday.

Ok, I just got the seat and put it on the bike. Let me know what you think!

Not only did I get the seat custom covered, I wanted the padding shaved down for a sleek look. When I decided to do this I bought an extra seat for two reason, first so I could ride while he made the seat, and two so I would have an original, comfortable full padded seat. So I asked him to shave the padding as I seen him do in pictures posted on a previous job. Comfort wasn't necessarily my # 1 concern.

Scott did an AWESOME job, and he did it for a reasonable price. Best of all his turn around time was phenomenal. I dropped it off @ UPS a week ago Tuesday and I received it today. That is 10 days including shipping both ways. This kind of quality and service is hard to beat.

Awesome dude!

I just bought a new seat to do the same thing. Will be sending one off to customize and gel her up I might add an extra 1-1.5" push as well for the long hauls and to get my shoulders back. Then will send the other one off to slim down for extra style points

Yeah dude, you have a Ridgeback you probably need all the seat that you can get. I just got back from a ride and I will say the shaved seat was more comfortable than I thought it would be. Then again i'm mostly a bar hopper so I'm not gonna be on it too long. Thanks.

Cool bizz, was wondering how that worked out. Nice pics. You should have a little more leg room. Glad you like her. It's always a risk with colors. Also have to add, this has been a phenomenal year for seats. Usually it all drys up by April but thanks to you guys and BigDogBiker, it has been non stop :2thumbs:

Yeah I know what you mean about the colors but I think they worked perfect. Just as much as the custom design I love the way you shaved and trimmed the seat, it looks a lot more sleek. I love the look all around. I can't say enough about the job you did.

Don't feel bad, I called Scott numerous times over a 6 or 8 month period before I actually sent him the seat. My hold up was that I didn't want to be without a seat so I had to find a seat, which took awhile. Scott was patient and very helpful and it worked out.
