117" Big Dog parts came in for much needed work, and some mods.
Cylinders needed a bore. Heads looked like they were worked on by a cave man. Major engine oil consumption. SOooo, after coming up with a plan, and ordering some parts, it was time to go to work. Easy Stuff First.
Heads rebuilt, ported, compression optimized (milled & CC'd) for the cam, engine size, and engine parts combination, which included : new guides, 600." lift inner and outer valve springs, over sized custom intake and exhaust valves, viton valve seals, my custom designed valve seat cutters used on my Serdi Machine.
S&S "G" carb mods include : Bore venturi to max oversize, modify fuel and air circuits, and install a Thunder Jet.
Cylinders were .003" out of round, so I used + .010" over size, NEW DESIGN S&S piston kit. NO more oil ring groove support rail.
All that gets one of my Cometic/Sachs custom gasket, and seal kit.
