As my bud five five has said,"They are indeed out to kill us" i got mine july 1, and if your readuing this then you just got yours, bike totaled, i know the feeling, hey we lived, dont know why except to ride again someday, you will, if were not dead, we live to ride again.
Just take it slow and everything will come back, even your witts !.....

Take the last amount of pain meds you can too. I know they do help and they are very tempting. Getting off those things are no joke. Take from an addict. I've been getting myself clean. Two years and still have the urge. Take it easy Nick.

thanks tim for bringing me back...this forum is amazing( the guys and gals)are why...
i have felt destroyed thru this accident, my ridgeback was totaled... i didnt have the money to buy the big dog again at this moment... so i have a harley street glide.. and i dont own it outright once its paid off i may have options... the big dog is in my blood but the club i ride with veterans , i am a veteran and 53 yrs old,they ride the touring bikes... and some of you guys have been thru this and it has helped me understand with life comes other oppurtunities i will ride and one day ill own a big dog... i work hard at physical therapy knowing i will recover... thank you for the wisdom and motivation to get back.. knowing the day will come when ill saddle up
