Yeah looks good!
Its an '04 and I can't get the owner's manual spec on it.On the 06 Ridgeback it should be the same as my 06 Pitbull. The oil should be checked with the motorcycle in the upright position. Oil should be visible at the base (bottom) of the filler neck. I'm not sure of the year of your bike.
That is super helpful. That was probably right around the exact amount I put in. Good thing I like math. What you wrote made perfect since. I'm looking forward to getting the remaining 21oz's for next oil change though. Thanks again brotherThere really is no owners manual specification for that other than 2.75 qts of oil in the bike. Here’s the info right from the’04 manual about your bike in case you need it for anything else. View attachment 135456View attachment 135457View attachment 135458
That’s cool! I use a chopstick. Pretty much the same principle. Whatever works! There is no dipstick on my pitbull either. Full is to the bottom of the filler neck. If the oil is down a little bit, it's hard to tell how much oil is in the tank. I made a homemade dipstick out of a straw and electrical tape. From empty, my oil tank holds 3.5 quarts. I put 2.5 quarts in it and cut the straw at the oil level. Then I added one quart and placed tape at the oil level. So the bottom of the straw is "down a quart", and the bottom of the tape is "full".
