o3 pitbull, 107ci, runs good, then will start cutting out and dies, let sit 5 minutes and it runs great for about a mile and does the same thing, a friend said it might be getting vapor lock on the tank, has anyone had this problem?, checked all the wiring , coils, spark plugs, it is a low milage bike, 3661, I think it just needs the hell ran out of it, BUT, I can"t keep it running long enough to do so.....

My buddy has an Mastiff and he had same problem you are describing
I know he had to loosen gas cap and hear a vaccum noise when he did this
I think he changed gas cap

Yup, take the vent out of the right side cap and you will most likely be good to go. Mine also did the same thing.

Means its winter time I am thinking Cam Sensor it was my problem on my 04. I would have to reseach a little to check out your setup but mine was an easy fix for the non venting cap and the Cam Sensor

i would agree on the sensor and the cap.one more thing i would check is dirt in the tank and carb,my 04 mastiff did something similar, blew out the jets with compressed air, problem solved.good luck and keep us posted:cheers:

Sounds like a fuel problem, start with the caps and work your way to the carb. Check you bowl then your floats. You might also have some bad gas.
