I second that - Mothers Billet is the S H I T
I did a good cleaning the beggining of this riding season and used the billet polish with a mothers powerball. It took me about 4 hours to polish the alumnium on the bike but man did it look good
On my forward controls I could barely tell the difference between the chrome pegs and the billet controls.
. Same thing with the handlebars and the controls. I am really impressed and the powerball is a life/time savor. I know people hate them because they are costly and fall apart but for the amount of time it saves its worth it for me. Plus it gets into spots my fat fingers cant go.The shine is still there about 1500 miles later, granted not as perfect as before but you don't want to use mother billet all the time its $$$ and when you don't need a deep clean its just a waste.

Absolutely Mothers Billet. It lasts awhile too. Abaco21 turned me on to it.

Go buy that at the autoparts store along with a mother powerball and grab a six pack and a drill (you won't need as many beers as before).
With a cloth apply the Billet polish you dont need a whole lot I just put a nice thin coat over whatever I'm polishing. (if you use to much the powerball will fling that shit everywhere) Grab the drill and set it on high and run it over the area real good. Wipe clean with a new dry cloth and presto!
For shits I would go ahead and grab it and do it right over what you just did - see if you see a difference. I bet you will

I like the mother's billet when it needs a really good cleaning. Just used it on my car's exhaust tips that weren't cleaned all winter. Its pretty good at taking heavy stuff off - although if you leave that carbon long enough, its not coming off. That said, for just maintenance cleaning on my bike, I prefer the California Purple that Don (Mad Dog) sells. Its truly a wipe on and off cleaner.

Discount and Auto Zone didn't have any here either. I found some at PepBoys. Was a lot more expensive than the Aluminum/Mag polish. They only had three containers, so I bought all of them! :2thumbs:

Just did the same thing, while waiting for my WP to arrive i decided to give the Power Ball and Mothers Billet a go.
Got a pot of polish, mini-ball and a cone thingy all up $156 AU, bloody pricey but boy did it do the business, very very impressed. also no skinned knuckles, no RSI, just a sore trigger finger.
Even the fridge didn't get it's usual open and close routine and at the end of the day there was still beer left, that never happens when i do it by hand.
Will do the hand controls and headlight this weekend. Trailer it to a show on Sunday.
