My Lisa had a huge car crash on the motorway last night because her tyre blew out - the police said they couldn't believe she walked away from it - if she was riding her bike who knows?!?
Just a reminder to ckeck your tyres regulalry - it could save your life

A close call and walk away is just the thing to make you feel blessed. Glad she's ok.

re

Glad to hear she's ok.

I check my air pressure and for nails everytime before I ride. Does that pretty cover it?

I am very glad to hear that your wife is ok. Give her a huge hug and thank God she is still here with us. Great advice. I think people get into this habit of "as long as the car starts, it's good". (guilty) Sometimes we need reminders.

Glad she's OK. Check mine daily. Had a brand new Dunlop blow out at 70 on my 91 FLHTCU packing double a few years ago. (Bad Tyre) Was not a fun time keeping it upright and getting her stopped. The bike gods were favorable that day. Rubber's cheap and air's cheaper!!!!!

This is one of the things that I constantly watch on my vehicles and those that ride around me. I have found at least 5 of my frinds running with less than 15 lbs in their tires just by looking out. Now they watch also

How lucky she was, a co-worker was headed home with his wife on a two lane road when the front tire blew, he hit a mini-van head on. we lost both of them.

take a minute and double check your bike, accidents are never good.
