Well while at Dave's and talking with Eric and some others, we came to realize that I have moved into a special group of Big Dog Riders.

I now have ridden over 100,000 miles on Big Dogs ( 57K+ on first 08 K-9 and close to 44K on the second 08 K-9)

So how many miles have you put on your Big Dogs?

Who else here has over 100K? on Big Dog's

Well total I'm about 158K+ and I only started in 2003!

As far as I am aware yourself, Rick and Rodger are the only 3 I know who have hit that milestone and damn that is worth it's some serious bragging rights!

I think our brother Raywood was close but I am not 100% sure where he ended up.

Well now that you are officially in the middle of NOWHERE, you'll have to put on more miles just to get to ANYWHERE!

been on two wheels for over 60 years , never gave it a thought of how many miles I have covered.
I just enjoyed/enjoy every mile .......still going

Do you think people would wear patches for milestones like this ? And obviously for others at lower mileage.

I just started last year, but I doubled the bike's mileage on the BBBBQ trip. 6K when I bought it exactly a year ago, 12K now. Long way to a milestone

I remember seeing those years ago -- I skipped on them as the first year damn near to the week I had put on 10K miles on my first 08 K-9 and always hoped for a more aggressive target (50K, 100K, 500K) Don't think I'll reach that last one unless I hit the lottery and run away from home (on the K-9).

Middle of nowhere ain’t so bad, Mike.—every Big Dog in existence was built in Kansas. We ride 90 minutes to get to Dave’s or The Gathering.
And we can be in Denver, Houston, Nashville or Chicago with one 600 mile day......ain’t all bad, bro.

Yea the east coast makes it had to gain much mileage quickly as traffic does slow us down. I did 57 in 2-1/2 hours, can't get much on mileage in that amount of time. Might as well stop for a beer and lunch by then and drive home.
