I have an 06 big dog mastiff with a Dakota digital speedometer. This afternoon we were riding and my speedo was acting erratic. We had to stop for a train so I turn the bike off. After the train passes it would not start . I turned the key off and back on and it started. We visited s local establishment and when we were ready to leave the bike was dead. A friend has a portable jump kit. When I took the seat off we noticed the positive cable was loose, we hand tightened it and it jump started right away. We left and as we got on the highway, the bike cut off. No electrical at all. The battery reads 13v, I checked all the fuses I could find and they were good. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

First thing I'd do is remove battery and give it a good charge. Then clean up the wire ends before giving it another try.

Check your ignition switch, by wiggling the key while the bike is idling. If it shuts off replace it with a Ford Tractor Ignition switch, you can get them at any tractor supply store. As mentioned above check for lose ground wires as well as ground cable that goes from the battery to the starter mounting bolt. Do a search on whatever issues you have and read what others have done to resolve similar issues. Last make sure you make an introduction, tell us about yourself, family, job, how long you have been riding and you get the drift.
