Yea it's giving my ideas for that yellow one. I like the Orange and Black I think a two tone paint on the bags to match would be bad ass

Agreed on the bags. Personally I was never a fan of the huge apes, I like a mid height better. But all in all that's a great looking bike and again wouldn't take alot to get it there, either of them.

After looking around I'm really looking foward to getting the FLH, just gotta figure out if this summer is doable or not. If not next summer for sure. He already said that he cant wait to see what I can do with it so I know changing it up isnt gonna hurt his feelings, not a fan of the peachish looking paint color so that will go, but I do like the 2 tone look. So far thinking of taking off most of the trim, putting the fiberglass bags back on, paint, and change out the bars. Not sure if I'll ditch the wing or not, I've gotten fond of the new street glides lately, so I'll probably paint it too and have the option of on or off. Alot of options that I can do a little at a time. Gonna be a cool new toy with alot of meaning!

I'm not sure what your situation is Butch, and your dad may be in great health but I would make the trip a priority. This may be his way of trying to make up for not being there years ago while confronting his mortality. In any case, it's a nice ride with potential to be even better, (coming from a guy who only rode rice rockets until 8 months ago).

I agree and he's not getting any younger, he's almost 70, hopefully he still has a ways to go and is in good health unless he not telling me. I've been planning it out already to calculate time and cost to try to make it happen this summer. Hopefully it will work out. I feel everyone deserves a second chance and have no hard feelings towards him, shit happens in life and dealing with it just makes you a stronger person.
