Went out to the garage today like usual, started up my bike let it warm up a couple of minutes and was on my way. Neighbor was out getting her mail and stopped just short of my driveway and got caught up in conversation. I shut off my bike and shot the bull for a minute.
Well, I go to restart my bike and it wont start!!! Has power to everything, my Mastiff is EFI and hit the run button and wait for the fuel rail to pressurize and watch for the check engine light to go out. Well doesnt go out and obviously will not even turn over the starter let alone start!!! However, I notice a weird kind of grinding noise that seems to be coming from the I think the injectors... Im stumped???? :bang:
Any ideas on what could be wrong? Any of you had this same problem?? Im calling my buddy tomorrow at Denton County Choppers but thought I would get my line in the water for possible problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated fellas... Im just glad I didnt get to town and break down on me on the way or in a tight spot, I guess their is a silver lining in everything.

Thnx Everyone

Did you try to press in on each the compression releases to manually open them. Do you have it on a battery tender? A couple of things can be going on but you want to make sure it is not on the compression stroke and if the battery is low, it may not have enough ump to push it through it. The EHC should open the compression releases when you hit the start button for this, but if your battery is low, the EHC may not boot up completely causing you some issues..
Let us know what happens..

Justice57,
It has been a couple of months from when you asked about your problem. What did you find out that was causing you grief? Always good to know what the cure was in case someone else has the same issue...:2thumbs:

remember, it takes close to 20 minutes of riding for the charging system to replace power it takes to crank your bike. that if why it is so important to have a trustworthy battery.
