Did some searching here and still have some questions,
what is the diffrence between,
05 bulldog and 06 mastiff and 07 bulldog?
I know the 05 mastiff was a 250 left drive
the 06 mastiff was 250 right side drive and
the 07 mastiff went to the 300 rear tire with new style down tubes.
I ask because I am saving every dime I can to get my big dog and I want to get it right the first time
Unfotunatly the more I read the more I want. Haha
thanks

All BD's produced in and after 05 are RSD. Bulldog was RSD since 03 I believe. 05 and newer use a DD6 vice the OD6 transmission.
Bulldog has different swingarm. Not "softail" style. Bulldog has inverted front end and the nose piece in front of the motor.
Both are very nice bikes.

Thanks, so far this is very interestin information.
I restore classic mopars for a living. The little changes from year to year and model diffrences are exciting to me.

The 07 Bulldog was the first EFI motor as well with beehive springs only rated for a .585 lift and non roller rockers.. It has a proprietary fuel map as well.

Does the 05, 07 bulldog and 06 and up mastiff have the same rake and tube length?
I understand the bulldog is inverted but are the bikes the same length? hard to tell from the pics I can find.
Thanks
