MASTER CYLINDER: (front) question.

Im in need of a FRONT master cylinder kit. (which i have on back order)

My question is how the heck to you remove the SPRING and cylinder OUT of the chrome housing. I have it all apart, and see no way to remove the remaining parts.

Someone should know as bdm site indicate all dogs have the same replacement parts.

I need front brakes, tired of driving without em( dangerous)

Thanks everyone in adv.

You will need to push down on the plunger/spring with a screwdriver or drift punch to take pressure off the internal snap ring...The best way to remove the snap ring is to use a pair of Motion Pro, part number 3808-0002 out of Drag-specialties, retail for $25.95
As far as the master cyl kit goes, I can't remember what it crosses over to with an H-D style. Maybe someone else on here will know...? or maybe Kaptain America has the kit's in stock..?

Thanks for the awesome QUICK REPLY.

BUT i'm past that part. I do the internal ring removed and the washer behind it.
its the remaing internal parts (cylinder and long spring) that i'm scratching my head about.

Seems there is no way to get access to em.

Take the reservoir cover off and blow compressed air in the hole inside the reservoir. If it's off the bike make sure you put your finger or some kind of cover on the front hole where the brake line goes. That worked for me.
