Manual compression releases for S&S 107?

I just bought a used 2004 Big Dog Mastiff with an S&S 107" The rear electronic compression release does not work (no click when power is applied) Does anyone know if I can go to manual releases by removing the S&S electric release, buying the Alloy Art 14mm to 10mm adaptor and 10mm manual compression releases?

Why not just replace it with an electric one like it was?

I have manual releases on my other bike. I like things simple but yeah I might just replace it with another.

I don't know if HDM carries them or not. If they don't, I know wildsteedworx.com has them.

At 1 time S&S offered a manual compression release set up for their heads. Check with them.

OK I bit the bullet and bought a new compression release along with the tool. it was pretty easy to install in the rear head and they both work now.
