I changed mine in less then 15 minutes front and rear you must have the wrong pads

The z pads, there to thick. The piston pressed as far in as possible

Put 7182 Z-pads on my 08 K-9 a few weeks ago from mcgroom and they went in fine. May want to open the line and see if the pistons will move in just a litte more.

I put in a set last year and had a little problem with the front staying compressed, but got em in.

You have the right pads. Your caliper piston need compressed to fit the thickness of the new pads.

Same here....bought pads last year,no problem with install.......

Lyndall pads are installed, i had to remove brake fluid cap then press piston to get that last 1/8 of the piston pressed enough to get the new pads in . T:choppersmiley:
