i was just wondering on how to make my bike louder. my buddies have all carbed dogs and i am the only one with an efi k-9 with big radius and baffles. they are so much louder than me. i would def not like to sacrifice power or receive more headaches bc of how many i have had with this efi already . not quite sure what i can do. thanks you guys are the best:cheers:

R&B racing 2 into 1 124 prostock challenge pipe. I guarantee you will be louder and your performance will increase. Not a very pretty pipe though.

You can cut the baffles in half, but you really need the back pressure with efi tried mine without them,Bike had a really bad dead spot.Hope this helps.

I really don't see how the carb vs EFI would effect the sound / loudness of the bike. Are your friends running Big Radius pipes as well? You definitely need backpressure for performance so I would not cut the baffles...IMHO

Do you have a K&N air filter?

They sound good with them cut in half and it will run alright as well.
Send me your address and I will give you a set of baffles that are cut in half from my big radius pipes I gave away.
I am running a R&B Cycles 2-1 pipe line Alhall but another model of them.Very top notch stuff...
Go by a BDM shop and have them make sure you have the latest downloads. BDM corporate can touch it up for you if they feel up to it while it is at the shop. Never hurts to ask.

Old subject but some have said the Thunder baffles make the BR pipes sound pretty good.

there is a thread on here do search about cut baffles, 1st cut baffles then ad a eye bolt w/ washer in middle, not long ago i changed my hd roadking pipes to true duals used my same mufflers that i had cut baffles, noticed huge loss of torque, installed eye bolt w washer worked better than factory pipes, & sonds great, hd is efi also

I took my baffles out completly and I did not notice any loss of power. I love the sound increasing and decreasing rpm's. Between shifts gives you a hard to describe noise like as if it is sucking air in. It's F'n awesome.
