Lost tranny oil!!

Out on a ride yesterday on a gorgeous afternoon rolled up to the next whiskey bar, shut bike off and trans oil leaked out!:angry: Had to get trailered home. Any ideas?

Output shaft seal. Where did it look like it was coming from. Oil generally leaves a trail.

Couldn't tell for sure but definitely not drain plug. Had the all new bearings and seals done last November about 1500 miles ago

trans or primary? Looks reddish like trans fluid was in primary.

Just figured out how to post pics using photobucket lol. Was transmission fluid. Ya got it tore apart and the retaining screw part #37 backed out tearing a hole in the seal right behind the inner primary #7.

A friend of mine that owns a local bike shop. He's covering it and I'm just doing tear down with him pointing the way. That bolt backed out causing a hole to be worn thru the seal.

that oil looks awfully thin!!!?? should be thick shit. something like redline heavy shockproof.
