Loose hose in rear compartment

I picked up a vibration and I've checked upper motor mount and in the process of looking, I have found a hose in the rear just hanging. It doesn't appear to have any fluids coming from it but not sure where or why this hose is loose..figure it can't be good.

Is the bike carburated and the hose small and a little yellow or yellow/clear in color?

EFI and hose is black

comes down behind starter before the sway bar..its black just like a fuel or vacuum line but no fuel leak.

Is it coming from the carb. or where?

I haven't been able to trace it back. Its not from the efi. I'm going to remove the battery and see if I can trace it back to where it starts at. Just no clue right now. Its starts on the left side behind everything on the tranny side. and is hanging behind shocks.

I'm going out on a limb here to say it's either:
1) Gas tank vent tube (very likely)
or
2) Crankcase vent tube (possible)

neither of which should drip anything! :nono:
But you should be able to smell either fluids from the tube, if this is the case. :2thumbs:

Oil tank drain is on the underside of tank, hex fitting.
Trans vent it a hard fitting with a very small hole in it.
