I joined this site last year - been riding and forgot about I had registered. I am a lady and I own a Big Dog Chopper from 2006. I purchased it last year. This is my third Chopper but my first Big Dog - I really like it. I am also glad I have a 250 vs a 300 since I ride a lot and the bigger tire is not always the best zipping around like I like to do. I have added Franky Serano pipes and love them the finish is great and looks are great also. I have gone on several long trips since getting the bike but as you know luggage ability is limited. Been really looking for a sissy bar upgrade but the are very rare - so far no luck - the ones for the K9 are much easier to find - guess the K9 must of out sold the Chopper by a lot. Any way thanks for letting me be a part of the group. If anyone knows of any good sissy bar options for a 2006 Chopper please let me know.

Thanks seen Ginz Choppers - I need the struts with a hole or some other way of mounting a sissy bar. They did not list the struts for the Chopper only K9 and other 300 tires. Has anyone seen any other ways of mounting a sissy bar other then the way Big Dog does with the custom struts? Those struts are hard to find and the last time I saw one for sale it was priced too high for my budget.

Call them. They don't list one for my bike either but with a couple of pics and some measurements they can fab up what ever you want.
Thanks for the info and getting back to me on this. There was one on eBay that I missed. I will give them a call.

I have an 04 chopper dt but the struts on it have the mounting holes in the rear below taillights. Does anyone know where I can find a sissy bar for this type of strut. Ginz choppers don't make one for these when I called Gary. Need help finding one.

I have the little 250 Tire I talked to ginz shop he said that he couldn't make one because of the extra bends new to the whole forum thing I'll try to find him and see if he's got one. Thanks.
