Paul the scoot looks great! I would be very careful if you’re going to purchase this scoot. Mainly because, you would be paying off the loan for them. Are you going to deal with the lender directly? Make sure you get the title if you’re paying it off for them is all I'm saying. Also, check out that frame for cracks and test ride it. I know the scoot doesn’t have many miles but it’s better to be safe than sorry, also make sure all recalls, service bulletins have been completed ect...

Paul, glad to know you are still keeping your DOG, and understand that you are only looking at the BBC bike, maybe even doing a public service since it seems a bit shady, but I wanted to share something I recently read on Cyril Huze Blog. Its too lengthy toput here but if you have time check out the BBC situation on his blog.....its ugly.

Paleskin I read the cyril huze article on big bear, it does suck.. I am only planning to go look of course I will ask the questions and do my homework if I decide to go and do it. I very much appreciate the advice and concern.. Thanks all

Love the L@@K of the BBC and lots of them out here in So Cal.. I just dont care for the tubing they use for the frames...It looks smaller in diameter....

Few things I can say and will throw them out
1. Worked for a dealer part time that sold Big Bear, other than the engine which is a custom built S&S (similar to our Big Dogs) 100 cu in low compression engine that was/is a very good engine. I can say that just about every bike sold within a hundred miles came back for something, electrical, paint issue, bikes with open belt drive not having the seal reversed on the engines and leaking all over the place. When one got sold ya just wondered how long before it came back.

2. The ride was very nice and smooth as they stated promoted the s&s smooth 100" engine

3. Lastly the "Miss Behavin" was a smaller frame bike designed for the female rider thus the name "Miss Behavin" (sorry bout dat)

Sorry to hear your brother is selling the "Merc" .... The girl I ride with "Chopper Doll" rides a BBC-Merc...It suprises me how smooth her bike rolls down the fwy at 85mph..

Well never even got around to looking at the bike. Something about riding a chick bike LOL.. I always have liked the BBC as far as reliability yeah they probably have had some problems but then again I ride a Big Dog not exactly on the reliable side either... I am interested but with buying a house this last year just not ready for another bike.
