EeeoooWWW! Nasty!!!YEP. Seem's they use the Evo bottom and the twin cam head. Hence 117TC. Kinda like a sportster fuckin a Roadking.:roll::roll::roll::roll::
,the rep said he was completely comfortable telling me to use the TP rockers. Not that he didn't want to sell his product, but said TP was an excellent rocker being forged, and a roller as well, and the box clears up the geometry issue. I got to believe him. so I will dye the stems and review the roller alignment.![]()
someone to help and clarify??? RADAMS445 is gonna be able to put just the rocker boxes in his engine with the ACTUAL tp rockers and shafts???Yep...you have the TP rocker boxes. The TP's will wear out your valve guides. You will still have to get the rockers and shafts with this kit.
Just to chime in,and clarify. Yes I am going to use the TP rockers and shafts. I understand Steve lost a roller,But this does not convince me that they are a problem product. Christ-we have guys with 40k to 60k on this product. Also take into consideration that the one known failure had how many miles on it with wrong geometry? I am in no way trying to tell anybody what to do , but I believe they will work fine. I as any member of this forum, will tell of the results when I have completed this project,But have total faith in the out come. OH-Has anybody that had the box's replaced looked to see if BD put S&S rollers back in under the warranty work. Most assumed they did,but know one that I've heard of has looked. It's a valid question. From what he stated there he talked to a S&S tech that said TP roller rockers will work fine, and there a good product. The S&S Boxes will take care of the geometry issue.I guess he is going to use the TP. after looking at the pics that Steve at Bikers Dream posted about the TP rockers rollers coming apart and taking out the cylinder head,I will spend the extra money to go total S&S.That is what I did on my 06 K-9 and it turned out great.

Know enough to say that:lol::lol:I would be concerned if they say they are for a twin-cam. But what do I know.
