Hey guys,

We did the HID headlight as well but the bike has ran since then.....started after the speedo swap so we will start there.....

was getting ready to laod it for Bike week!!!!!:bang:

When we go ignition on...all lights on the EHC come on......we are on the ignition switch now...

Blinking lights on the tach and blinkers e.t.c. is the sign that the EHC is trying to reboot because of a low power condition. Charge your battery completely and make sure you have a battery that is putting out at least 300CCAs

We are doing some lookin around now.......with the ignition switch to on all the lights on the EHC are lit...?

Motor will fire over for a few hits then die......I will go get a softail batt in the morning and see what that does...

SO are we talking about the lights on the EHC specifically or the lights of the bike i.e. blinkers, tach, e.t.c.?
If all the lights on your EHC are lit, and stay lit, then you have a different issue.

Thanks for the help....

When we turn ignition on all the lights on the bike blink.....at the same time if you look in the battery bay the EHC lights are all lit up....bike will turn over like normal and fire off but wont stay running.....my Softail batt will be here in an hour or so....

It has front facing posts not top .....I assume it will fit.

Thanks for the clarification. Certainly sounds like a low amperage issue to the EHC. Good battery should take care of the gremlin.
Before you throw the battery in throw it on the tender and make sure it is charged fully.

All good now....

Replaced the batt.....no change.....

Started working backwards from what has been installed in the last week or so......speedo....no change....removed the HID headlight......fixed the problem.

Spoke to Jake and we are going to work on getting it sorted but for now we are doing quick polish and loading the bikes for Myrtle Beach....old headlight installed.

Thanks gents,

Shane

It's the HID. All of my lights did that when I tried to install the HID kit on my bike. Took it off and all went back to normal.

Same here, I even had the extra module. When I would toggle from Hi to Low the HID would try to fire and all the lights would flash. It was kind of hit or miss if it would work if I left it on the low beam setting. I did not return to Jake since I plan on using it on another application. I think on some bikes the EHC is just too picky. I took my HID off and all is fine now.
