leaky gas cap

New to the big dog world and now own an 08 k9. Gas cap leaks when I fill up the tank and thinking on replacing it. From posts I've read others having problems with swelling threads and to tight but this one is opposite. Buy one from Landmark?

Only fill the tank while the bike is on the kickstand and only fill to the bottom of the neck inside the tank. If you overfill these bikes or fill while standing upright they will leak when you set the bike on the kickstand. They have to vent some or they'll vapor lock. If you are already doing all of this....then check the gasket or o-ring in the cap.

I bought one of these and have had no issues!

Welcome from Coast SC. Make sure your gas cap is venting. Blow thru the bottom and that way you'll now if its venting properly

remember, with this one, you have to remove the bung and sometimes that ain't the easiest thing to do.
