Landmark Rod Ends

I just ordered a set of those Landmark polished stainless steel rod ends (heims) today I figure the stainless ones were only a few bucks more than the chrome ones.....

I spoke with Brenna from Landmark....she also told me to let everyone know that Landmark does not make our gas caps anymore for our BDM's. She said that they stopped making them 2 years ago....and she is not sure who is making them now. Just a little heads up.....

That heim joint would not fit on my 06. I have heim joints that have a male threaded stud not like those shown. If these are correct for your bike what push rod do you have?

actually when I talked to Brenna at Landmark...she said those rod ends were standard.....I don't have my bike here to check.....still at the dealer....when I get my scoot back....I will check and if they do not fit....I will call them back and get it taken care of...

And he's right. Its a matter of them end being male or female. The shifter linkage itself is female soe your end needs to be male.

Mcmaster-Carr has any combination of rod ends you could need for about half the price

I spoke to Vickie.......I am going to order a Wicked Image shifter linkage from her......those Landmark rod ends won't fit the stock shifter linkage.....The Wickend Image shifter linkages come with the good rod ends on them... :up:

I just spoke with Landmark.......they already sent out my rod ends.....but they give me a RMA # so I can return them once I get them....I should have looked into this a little more before I ordered them but thats what happens when you get excited about buying shit for the bike

I received my LandMark Rod ends Friday......and then I sent them back yesterday..Saturday...I didn't even open them up.... I put them in a priority envelope and sent them back.....being that they would not fit on my bike.... ....I am going to get the Wicked Image shifter linkage...as mentioned in the other thread.....
